A Trinity County man has been cleared of murder charges in the shooting death of another man. At 9:20PM Monday night 35-year-old Kyle Adamson showed up at Trinity Hospital with several gunshot wounds. Deputies responded and interviewed Adamson. They learned he had been in a gunfight with 34-year-old Alex Heck at a marijuana farm on the outskirts of Douglas City. That’s where heck was found deceased with several gunshot wounds. Evidence was gathered and Adamson, whose wounds were not life-threatening, was arrested for homicide. After further investigation, the Trinity County District Attorney’s Office determined that the homicide was justifiable and Adamson has been released with no pending charges.
