A vehicle fire spread to vegetation in North Redding. At 1:18PM Saturday afternoon Redding Fire Department was called to a location in the wooded area west of Cascade Boulevard a little north of Oasis. When they were able to access it, they found a pickup truck fully involved with fire. It was extinguished, as well as fire that spread to surrounding bushes and trees. Nobody was in or around the truck, valued at around $5,000.
