People in Chico are outraged about the vandalism of a 9/11 memorial. Located at Chico Fire Station Number 5, the memorial included a drawing of a New York City Firefighter with connections to Chico who was killed in the collapse of the World Trade Center in 2001. Sometime Saturday night somebody set fire to the shrine, destroying it. Police apparently have no leads on a suspect and they’re hoping someone will come forward.
