RPD: Man Admits To 8 Commercial Burglaries

Redding Police say they’ve gotten a confession out of a man for multiple commercial burglaries. Between April 8th and June 30th of last year, a series of break-ins occurred at numerous Redding businesses, and they all used the same method. The burglar removed the glass from the front doors and stole cash from the registers. An investigation led to 32-year-old Cory Bingham as a suspect. He was interviewed on Tuesday and reportedly confessed to 8 of the burglaries. They were at Rag’s Clothing, Crowning Jewels, Janyas Thai Cuisine, Vanity Society, Castle Lounge, Chu’s Too, Taste and See Creamery, and Fratelli’s Pizza. Anyone with information on a similar burglary is asked to contact Redding Police Investigations Division.
