No suspect has been identified from a bank robbery in Downtown Redding on Friday. RPD was called at 2:09PM to the Union Bank at Market and Sacramento Street. The robber came into the bank and demanded money. He fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. despite a search of the area by Redding Police with help from CHP Air Operations, the robber got away. There was nothing suspicious looking about the black mask covering the lower part of his face. He was a white man about 5-foot-5 with a slim build and dark thinning hair, wearing a dark collared shirt and dark shorts. Photos are on the KQMS Facebook page.
