A man was shot outside Win-River Casino Monday afternoon, and an arrest was made a short time later. At 3:13PM, Shasta County Sheriff’s Deputies were called by Win-River security for a gunshot victim in the parking lot. The man was transported to a hospital and is expected to survive. The suspected shooter, 71-year-old Michael Allen Cain, was believed to be at a home on Clear Creek Road, but deputies did not find him there. Cain’s car was then spotted at the Westwood Village Shopping Center outside Round Table Pizza, and he was taken into custody without incident.
