A reward is offered in hopes of catching a man who robbed a Downtown Redding bank last Friday. RPD was called shortly after 2 O’clock to the Union Bank at Market and Sacramento Street. The robber fled on a bicycle with an undisclosed amount of cash. Despite a search of the area by Redding Police with help from CHP Air Operations, the robber got away. There was nothing suspicious looking about the black mask covering the lower part of his face. He was a white man about 5-Foot-5 with a slim build and dark thinning hair, wearing a black button-up shirt, black shorts and black high-top shoes with tall gray socks.
