Inmate Sentenced After Producing “Pruno” While In Custody

A Corning man jailed on drug charges still found a way to get intoxicated behind bars. Carlos Partida had been arrested for possession of Methamphetamine, Heroin and Xanax, as well as a collapsible baton. While in jail he was caught producing “Pruno”, which is a rough approximation of wine made by fermenting fruit, in this case inside a garbage bag. Partida has been sentenced to an addition 240 days in jail, and a 5 year prison sentence that’s suspended on condition of 2 years probation.
