An elderly woman was walking her dog on Cypress Avenue Tuesday night when both were struck by a pickup truck, according to Redding Police. At around 10 O’clock the pedestrian was in a crosswalk in front of city hall when the collision occurred. It’s not clear if a red light violation was involved. The woman was transported to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
