Oroville Couple Robs Elderly Woman Of Casino Winnings

A woman who had a good night at the casino was followed home and robbed on Thursday. Shasta County Sheriff’s Deputies were called to a home on Alee Lane off Oasis Road at around 11:30PM Thursday night. The 74-year-old victim said she had just arrived home after winning money at Win-River Casino and was still sitting in her car when a man walked up with a handgun and told her to give him the money or he would shoot her. She did not let go of her purse willingly and was dragged out of the car before the man forced the purse away and fled in a waiting car. The victim suffered a cut on her arm during the struggle. Detectives reviewed surveillance video from the casino that showed the victim being followed by two people, identified as 33-year-old Timothy Wilt and 24-year-old Allisa Long, both of Oroville. Detectives tracked the pair to an apartment complex on Kimball Road in Red Bluff. After a half-hour standoff wilt and long surrendered and were booked into jail for criminal threats, conspiracy and elder abuse with great bodily injury.
