Redding Rodeo week kicks up its spurs Friday night with big happenings at Buckaroo Flats, a.k.a. the Asphalt Cowboys Clubhouse at the Rodeo Grounds. The street dance starts at 7:30PM with live music from the “Double Crossed Band”. Before the dance starts, there will be line dance lessons from 6:30PM to 7:30PM. The dance goes until 11PM. Hamburgers, hot dogs, soft drinks and hard drinks will be sold. Hang on to your hat- and your drink- when the Quick Draw Shootout happens at 6:30PM. The Top Hand Dinner is at the Elks Lodge Saturday evening. Tickets must be purchased in advance. The big pancake breakfast with 10,000 of your closest friends is next Friday, and this year it’ll be outside the Civic Auditorium. The rodeo is next Thursday through Saturday.
