Eric Magrini is stepping down from being Shasta County Sheriff, a position he was appointed to following the early retirement of Tom Bosenko. Magrini will be given the new position of Assistant County CEO, under the direction of CEO Matt Pontes. Magrini’s last day as Sheriff will be June 19th. Undersheriff Jason Barnhart will take the helm of the Sheriff’s Department while a search is underway for a new Sheriff.
