A fire on Millville Plains Friday was apparently caused by someone cutting down weeds. The fire was located on Mallard Way near Bass Pond Road. The first arriving engines reported a fully involved structure burning along with a couple of acres of vegetation, and another residential structure immediately threatened. The fire burned around 5 acres of grass and brush, along with multiple vehicles.
