A car discovered in the Sacramento River in South Redding early Friday morning had a deceased person inside. Redding Police were called to the South Bonnyview Bridge at 2AM. A car was submerged and upside down but was inaccessible. The Shasta County Sheriff’s Dive Team was called and they went down and found the dead body. Because of the difficult access, it took several hours to get the car out of the river. The driver’s identity has not been made public.
