Redding firefighters were called to a vegetation fire in South Redding. It was reported at 6AM near Carpet One off Westside Road south of Kenyon. 9-1-1 callers reported a man in his 20s fleeing the scene. First arriving engines reported multiple spot fires. They were quickly extinguished and investigators are searching for the suspected arsonist.
