The City of Anderson will join communities all over the country as people lock their doors, turn on their porch lights, and go outside to meet the neighbors. It’s the 21st year for Anderson’s participation, with numerous block parties planned around town from 5 O’clock to 9 O’clock. Last year was canceled due to Covid, and for the last few years Redding has celebrated National Night Out on an alternate date in October when it’s not as hot outside.
