A man died in Downtown Redding from an apparent medical condition Thursday afternoon. At about 2:45PM fire and medical were called to the south side of the Veterans Hall on Yuba Street for a man who appeared to be having a seizure. He was transported to Mercy Medical Center, where he was eventually pronounced dead. Redding Police investigated and contacted many witnesses. The cause of death is undetermined and an autopsy is planned for this week. The deceased man’s identity has not been made public.
