Council Approves Henderson Open Space Project

Dignity Health will build a $50 Million wellness campus next to the Sacramento River at the Cypress Bridge. It will offer outpatient services in oncology and senior care, employing up to 180 people and bringing an estimated annual payroll of $14 Million Dollars. The project will be in the Henderson Open Space on property being purchased from the City of Redding. The city council approved the project Tuesday night.  The council also voted to allow mobile medical vans like those associated with Shasta Community Health and Bloodsource to operate in the city without use permits, but they must adhere to other conditions.
