A motorcyclist has died in Trinity County. At around 7 O’clock Wednesday night a driver on Highway 299 near Browns Creek Road south of Weaverville came upon the motorcyclist lying in the middle of the road suffering from a very severe head injury. The rider, whose identity has not been released, was declared dead at the scene.
