A fire is burning on Hoopa Land in Humboldt County. The Tulley Fire started around 4 O’clock Monday afternoon off of Highway 169 and Martin’s Ferry Road northwest of Weitchpec. It’s actually 3 fires, one large one and two smaller ones, burning on very steep and rugged terrain in heavy timber and slash. There are nearly 500 firefighters on scene. As of Tuesday morning the fire has burned 300 acres and one residence. There is no containment.
