Fire ripped through an apartment in the Parkview Neighborhood overnight. Redding Firefighters battled the blaze after Midnight on Dove Street. The unit was a total loss, with damage estimated at 50,000 Dollars. The cause was apparently somebody smoking in bed and catching the bedding on fire and it spread from there. Nobody was hurt.
