Red Bluff Thief Sentenced To 8 Years

A Red Bluff man is going to prison for a series of smash-and-grabs and other thefts. 34-year-old Nathan Tolbert used a rock to smash the front glass doors of an electronics store in March and he stole multiple I-Phones. In July he pried open a door at a different store and stole thousands of dollars worth of goods. In August Red Bluff Police were sent for a burglar alarm at a cellular phone store. They arrived to find broken glass from the front window on the sidewalk and Tolbert climbing out the hole with a backpack loaded with booty. Tolbert was out on bail in September when he walked out of a grocery store without paying and he was arrested again. Found guilty of a very long list of charges, Tolbert was sentenced last week to 8 years 4 months in state prison.
