Teen Stabbed in Corning

The Tehama County Sheriff’s Office is digging for details after a teenager showed up at a Corning home with stab wounds. The unidentified 16-year-old Hispanic boy sought help at a home on Mary Street in Corning at around 10 o’clock Sunday night. The homeowner immediately called for medical and law enforcement. Deputies took a partial statement from the boy before he was rushed away to be treated at a hospital for several knife wounds to his head and neck. There’s apparently no suspect identified yet. The case is being investigated by Corning Police and the sheriff’s offices of Tehama and Glenn Counties.
