Two new members of the Redding City Council will be sworn in Tuesday, following their election last month. Julie Winter and Adam McElvain took the two top spots in election. A new mayor will also be chosen, presumably it will be current Vice Mayor Brent Weaver, although the council is free to choose whomever it wants. Mayor Missy McArthur is stepping down after deciding not to run for re-election. Council member Gary Cadd will also exit after not being re-elected.
