Cal-Fire Grant Will Help Finish Fuel Break

The Tehama Glenn Unit of Cal-Fire in conjunction with the California Conservation Corps has been working a fuel treatment project in Eastern Tehama County. A $139,000 grant from Cal-Fire’s Prevention Fund has been awarded to continue the fuel break. Once finished the project will create an 8-mile long 200 foot wide fuel break near Ponderosa Ranch and Canyon View Loop. The project is expected to be complete in March of 2018.
