The sheriff”s office has released surveillance photo’s of two suspects who allegedly stole packages from the front of a home and a jewelry box in two separate incidents. On Tuesday, deputies received a report that someone had taken Amazon packages from a front porch of a home on Duryee Lane in Redding. The resident of the home was able to provide deputies with surveillance photos of a man and woman as well as the vehicle they were driving. Both the man and woman are white and are possibly in their 30’s. They were wearing dark clothing and were driving a newer model black over silver four-door Ford F-150 pickup. The sheriff’s office was called Wednesday by Sandra Knox who said that a jewelry box was taken from her home. Knox told deputies that on Tuesday she was contacted by a man and woman who had asked her to look at her home which is for sale. Knox allowed the two to look around the home because she thought they were interested in purchasing it. Knox did not notice that the jewelry box was missing until Wednesday. Knox gave a description of the man and woman and it matched the surveillance photographs from the burglary on Duryee Lane. Deputies showed know the photos and she was able to positively identify the suspects as the two who had been in her home. Anyone with information is asked to contact the sheriff’s office.
