The difference between hoarders and collectors might just depend on who you ask, but both have an opportunity to turn their stockpiles into cash as the popular History Channel show “American Pickers” comes to California this Spring. Mike and Frank travel the country seeking private collections of rusty old stuff they can dig through to find marketable items. They’re not interested in flea marts, museums, or any other collection that’s open to the public. What they really like is piles of antique things that have not been picked through before.
