A women’s march in Redding that attracted around 300 people Saturday was done in conjunction with marches nationwide that collectively brought out millions of peaceful, chanting and smiling protesters. Hundreds of thousands marched in Washington D.C. and even Sacramento saw an estimated 30,000 people for their march. The nationwide event was billed as a way to send a peaceful but firm message to Washington not to undo all that women have come to expect.
