A driver was killed in a crash in North Redding Monday afternoon. At around 4 O’clock a Kia sedan on Mountain Lakes Boulevard pulled out onto Beltline Road into the path of a northbound Ford Windstar van driven by 52-year-old Darla Corbell. The van broadsided the small car and the Kia driver died at the scene. Corbell was taken to a hospital with minor injuries. Both were wearing seatbelts and Redding Police say alcohol was not a factor. The name of the deceased has not been made public yet.
