Running into a police car is never a good thing. Failing to stop makes it worse and being drunk makes it even worse. At 10 O’clock Saturday night that’s allegedly what 35-year-old Donald Clausen did while driving on North Market Street near Benton Drive. After apparently rear-ending the marked RPD car with his Toyota Carolla, Clausen didn’t stop until that same officer pulled him over. Nobody was hurt and both cars had minor damage. Clausen was arrested for drunk driving and his two passengers were arrested for public intoxication.
