Suspected Murderer Captured In Butte County

Rage is contained. 30-year-old Kane Kazzcooper Harrison, nicknamed “Rage”, is accused of murdering Randall Matsunaga. The 24-year-old man was shot in the chest at the Bixby Knolls Trailer Park off Highway 273 just north of Happy Valley Road on February First. Last Tuesday an arrest warrant was issued for Harrison, who detectives believed was in the company of his girlfriend, Fawn Lilgrass Watkins, also known as “Bambi”. The sheriff’s office was told that the couple might be at her family’s home in Clipper Mills, about 30 miles east of Oroville. The Butte County Sheriff’s Office helped, first with surveillance and then on Saturday with a SWAT Team as a search warrant was served at the Watkins home in Clipper Mills. Harrison and Watkins weren’t there but the family directed the team to another house down the road. When they got there the homeowners said the couple was inside. There were many attempts to contact them during the ensuing 5 hour standoff and eventually tear gas was used to flush them out. Harrison will be transported back to Shasta County this week.  Watkins was questioned and then released.
