A man who was missing from his South Redding home and considered at risk has been found many miles away. 54-year-old Samuel Louis Gonzales has been diagnosed with dementia. He had last been seen Tuesday night at his home on Acorn Lane, which is off Cedars in South Redding. Gonzales was located Thursday night at a hospital in Portland, Oregon. He was not injured and had given very little information to hospital staff when he arrived. He said he had no recollection at all about how he ended up in Oregon.
