A house was consumed by fire off Railroad Avenue in Redding Monday night. Redding Firefighters were called at around 10:30PM to 1835 Grandview Avenue. They arrived to finds most of the house already in flames and called a second alarm, bringing all the city’s resources. The place looked abandoned and had no electrical service, but there were four people staying inside when the fire broke out. One of the people was hospitalized with smoke inhalation. The house was apparently a total loss. The cause is still under investigation.
