Infant Taken Into Protective Custody

An Anderson woman was arrested and a baby taken from her because of the presence of drugs. Tuesday afternoon district attorney investigators were checking on 45-year-old Jennifer Cline at her home on Bay Street in Anderson. She was caring for a 10-month-old baby.  Cline is on searchable probation so the investigators took a look around and say they found drugs and drug paraphernalia in close proximity to the baby. They deemed it to be an unsafe environment for the infant, who was taken by children and family services. Cline was booked into jail for drug possession and child endangerment.
