A south Siskiyou County woman is accused of sexual misconduct with multiple underage Mount Shasta High School students. The investigation was started by Mount Shasta Police, who first got word in September that 42-year-old Mary Frances Fletcher had spent several weeks meeting up with three male students at a business in Mount Shasta and then taking them out of town to various places to have sex. The sheriff’s office and D.A.’s office did a series of interviews and a thorough investigation before arresting Fletcher Tuesday. She’s been booked into jail for unlawful sexual intercourse and knowingly dissuading a witness or victim of a crime. Officials say there’s no evidence the sexual contact took place on any school campus or involved any school employees. The sheriff’s office is still seeking witnesses or anyone who can provide information.
