Hard drugs and a gun were found during a traffic stop Tuesday afternoon,according to Redding Police. At about 4 O’clock an RPD Sergeant on Railroad Avenue at Buenaventura pulled over 33-year-old Kevin Wayne Smith for driving erratically. Smith is a convicted felon on Post Release Community Supervision so the vehicle was searched. Almost 13 Grams of Heroin and almost 5 Grams of Methamphetamine was allegedly found, as well as a handgun and ammunition. Smith was booked into jail on charges including possession of drugs for sale.
