Fire destroyed a home on Lake Boulevard Monday night. Located just north of Shasta Dam Boulevard in the Summit City area of Shasta Lake City, the house was reported on fire at around 10 O’clock. It was originally a mobile home with many additions built onto it, including multiple roofs, that made it very difficult to fight the fire because it was too dangerous to go inside. The home was completely destroyed. The cause is under investigation.
