Woman Arrested After Allegeldy Firing Round At Another Vehicle

A woman on Interstate Five expressed her outrage with another driver by shooting his car, according to the Shasta County Sheriff’s Office. Roy Chapman called 9-1-1 Monday afternoon from Northbound I-5 near Gilman Road. He said a woman in a Ford pickup with Washington plates had pointed a gun out her driver’s side window and shot his car. Word went out to area law enforcement agencies and a short time later a CHP Officer pulled the pickup over near Mount Shasta City. Inside were two adults and three children, ages 2, 9 and 12. The driver, Michelle Fuller, reportedly admitted to firing a round from her Glock 9 millimeter, saying she did it because Chapman had pulled in front of her and slammed on his brakes. She said she wanted to scare him. A bullet hole was found in Chapman’s car and the Glock was found in the pickup. Fuller was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon and child endangerment.
