A local high school student is hoping to be a contender in a national 3-point basketball shooting competition, but he needs online votes. 17-year-old Noah Vickery is a student at Redding Christian School in Palo Cedro. he’s in the running for a trip to Phoenix to compete nationally in the contest, which is hosted by American Family Insurance Company. Voting must be done online by going to highschoolslam.com and clicking on the tab that says “Men’s 3 Point”. All votes must be received by 10 O’clock Thursday morning.
