A child pornography producer from Chico who was captured in Redding might not walk free for the rest of his life. 41-year-old Jesse Davenport also goes by the name “Draco Flama”. In August of 2013 Davenport was on parole for child molestation and had an electronic ankle monitor when he met a Connecticut woman online in a chat room for enthusiasts of bondage, domination, sadism and masochism. When Davenport learned that the woman babysat for a 2-and-a-half-year-old girl, he convinced her to sexually assault the child and send him a video of it. She did so, and Davenport then distributed the video to others. The following month a parole search was done of Davenport’s home. He wasn’t supposed to be on the Internet but an Internet-capable cell phone was found, so the micro-sd card was seized from it. The card was analyzed several days later and the horrible footage was found on it, but by then Davenport had cut off his ankle monitor and fled. He was arrested in Redding a few days after that. Davenport was sentenced Thursday to 50 years in federal prison. Authorities were able to identify the Connecticut woman and she was arrested too.
