A local boy has won a nationally televised cooking show. 12-year-old Joshua Altamura was on “Chopped Junior” on the Food Network Wednesday night, earning himself a spot on the judging panel along with two other kids for Chopped Junior’s “Make me a Judge” episode, which will air next Wednesday at 5 O’clock. The kids will judge four of America’s top chefs. Josh has been cooking since he was 8-years-old and specializes in Italian cooking. He currently has a job at Tantardini’s Bakery and Deli in the Hartnell/Churn Creek Shopping Center. Josh will be a guest on Monday morning with Schopflin and Gibson on KQMS.
