Teen Accused Of Stabbing Death In Tehama County

A homeless teenager is accused of murdering someone in Red Bluff. The incident happened in a homeless encampment on Spider Island in the Sacramento River Slough north of Antelope Boulevard. Tehama County Deputies were called at 10:40AM Sunday morning on reports of a stabbing. When they arrived they found an unidentified male, who was already dead. An investigation quickly led them to identify the suspect as 19-year-old Jesse Jacobo. During questioning he allegedly told detectives that an argument had started after Jacobo accused the victim of stealing from him. The argument reportedly escalated until Jacobo stabbed the victim. The identity of the deceased is withheld until family is notified. Jacobo is in Tehama County Jail on One Million Dollars bail.
