Woman Charged With Animal Torture For Allegedly Lighting Dog On Fire

A Yreka woman has been arrested for allegedly catching her husband’s dog on fire, according to the Siskiyou Daily News. The paper relays a story from the CHP last week that a married couple was driving a motor home on Highway 96 and were arguing. They stopped and got out near the Collier Rest Area and were still arguing when the man went back inside the RV.A short time later the man heard his dog shrieking in pain and went outside to find the dog on fire. The dog was burned over 15% of his body but is expected to survive.  29-year-old Lisa Marie Love Marlow was arrested for felony animal torture.
