The Tehama County District Attorney’s Office has prosecuted yet another man who fell for their Craigslist underage sex sting. An ad was posted to the Craiglist “casual encounters” section by an investigator posing as a 15-year-old girl. 23-year-old Fidel Reyes responded and the two of them conversed for several hours until Reyes said he would be willing to meet for sex if they could keep it between themselves. He said he would bring condoms and they arranged a place to meet. When Reyes showed up he was arrested. He’s been convicted of meeting a minor for lewd purposes and sentenced to 6 months in jail, 80 hours community service and 5 years probation.
