The Tehama County Sheriff’s Office has made an unprecedented commitment to law enforcement transparency with an easy-to-use publicly accessible computer program that tracks crime activity in real time. It’s called “Citizen Records Information Management System” or RIMS for short. Anybody who downloads the software can access live and historic incident mapping, bulletins, arrest logs, charts, patrol requests and more.
