A convicted Red Bluff car thief with multiple strikes has been sentenced. In February, Tehama County Sheriff’s Deputies were investigating a stolen vehicle report and found that the theft had been captured on surveillance video. Deputies thought they recognized 31-year-old Sean Sogoian from previous contacts. When they found him nearby they were quite sure it was him and when a witness was brought to the scene to confirm it, then they knew it was Sogoian in the footage. The stolen car was found in a parking lot nearby and Sogoian admitted he had been in the car. Convicted of car theft with prior felonies, Sogoian has been sentenced to 8 years in prison.
