Woman Allegedly Stabs Husband With Steak Knife

A woman has been arrested for allegedly stabbing her husband repeatedly after a party in Cottonwood Saturday night. At 2:25AM Sunday morning, Shasta County Sheriff’s Deputies and Anderson Police both responded for a reported stabbing on El Camino Drive in Cottonwood. Dispatchers were told the woman suspect had left on foot and arriving deputies found Tjiyana Sory walking away from the house covered in blood. Her husband was still at the house, and he was transported to Mercy Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The couple had both gotten inebriated at the party and got into an argument that became violent. Sory allegedly grabbed a couple of steak knives and stabbed her husband multiple times in the shoulder. Other people at the party separated the two. Sory was booked into jail for domestic violence and assault with a deadly weapon.
