Coroner Identifies Woman Killed In Motorcycle Crash

A woman who died in a motorcycle crash on Sunday has been identified by the Shasta County Coroner’s Office. 19-year-old Kenetha Rae Dillon wasn’t wearing a helmet as she rode behind 25-year-old Damon Bedore on a Suzuki SV650. They were eastbound on Hartnell Avenue when 52-year-old James Raymer in a Honda Civic turned into their path at Middleton Lane. Bedore and Dillon both slid beneath the Honda, and were trapped there until Redding Firefighters freed them. Bedore, who has a suspended driver’s license, was wearing a helmet and suffered major injuries. Dillon died of her injuries at Mercy Hospital a few hours after the crash
