A man died in a crash in Happy Valley very early Friday morning. A little after 1am a Dodge 2500 pickup and a 1995 Buick Roadmaster collided head-on on Happy Valley Road just south of Strawberry Lane. When CHP officers got there the Buick was on fire and the driver was still inside. He died a couple of hours later at Mercy Medical Center. His identity has not been released. The driver of the pickup, 50-year-old Edwin Boyce Jr, had minor injuries. He was arrested for felony DUI. Boyce had three passengers in the truck. 38-year-old Tiffani Boyce was ejected on impact and suffered major injuries. The other two passengers were unharmed. If anybody witnessed the crash, they’re encouraged to call the CHP at 225-0500.
