A West Redding house was heavily damaged by a fire Monday afternoon. The fire started shortly before 5 O’clock in the garage of the 2000 square foot home at 2550 Amethyst Way off Harlan Drive near the Elks Lodge. The attached garage was fully involved with fire, as well as a car inside and another car in the driveway. The cause is under investigation.
